Fabulous Flash Cards

Standard

My sweet almost five-year-old is starting Kindergarten in August, and the other day, his soon-to-be teacher sent home a list of words for her students to learn over the summer. She suggested we make flash cards to help the kids learn their words, and since I had two minutes the other day, I made flash cards. I got about half way through the list, when I wrote the word “nag.”

That’s when I stopped and chuckled to myself. It’s great and totally appropriate that I teach my son that word now, since I’ll be doing it for the next 12 years  (at least) of his life. Then, I’ll leave that to his wife!
